Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of critical health systems. This is a long-term, onsite contract role based in Tallahassee, FL, requiring strong experience with traditional Microsoft .NET technologies and a solid understanding of healthcare systems and compliance regulations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web Forms/MVC). You will also support and enhance legacy systems built on older Microsoft technology stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Ensuring applications meet healthcare compliance and regulatory standards, such as HIPAA, is a key responsibility. The role involves troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications, participating in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities, and maintaining clear documentation for code, processes, and system changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web Forms/MVC).
- Support and enhance legacy systems built on older Microsoft technology stacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Ensure applications meet healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and system changes.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of full-stack .NET development experience.
- Strong experience with traditional/legacy .NET frameworks (not just modern .NET Core).
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments, must have healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of health data compliance standards (HIPAA or similar).
- Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL (45 days/week).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with state/government health systems.
- Experience supporting or modernizing legacy applications.
- Familiarity with system integrations and data exchange in healthcare environments.
Additional Details:
- This is a long-term contract with a strong likelihood of annual renewal.
- Candidates must be comfortable working onsite consistently (with potential for limited flexibility, such as occasional Fridays off).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
