Job Opportunity: Sr. Developer – Palantir Foundry

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Developer with a strong background in Palantir Foundry to join our team for an onsite contract role in Boynton Beach, Florida. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 7 years specifically focused on building data pipelines using Palantir Foundry and analyzing large-scale datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support Palantir work packages, ensuring efficient and effective data solutions.
  • Utilize various Palantir components, including Core, Data Connector, Quiver, Slate, Map, Contour, Hubble, Workshop, Notepad, Pipeline Builder, Ontology Management, and Data Lineage.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Foundry.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to extract meaningful insights and support business objectives.
  • Implement frontend solutions using React/JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Develop backend logic and data processing using Python and PySpark.
  • Leverage AWS cloud technologies for data ingestion, storage, and manipulation.
  • Write strong SQL/PySQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Work with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark and Flink, and messaging systems like Kafka.
  • Utilize containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Manage code and dependencies using Gradle, Webpack, and GitHub.
  • Collaborate within Agile software development teams, contributing to a fast-paced and iterative development process.
  • Analyze process flows, systems, data sources, and owners with respect to predetermined metrics.
  • Assist in sourcing local data feeds into the Data Lake/Foundry Platform.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and work independently, making informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Write clean, effective code and quickly adapt to new languages and technologies.
  • Familiarize yourself with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and other relevant technical tools.

Required Technical Competencies:

  • 10+ years of overall experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in building data pipelines using Palantir Foundry.
  • 7+ years of experience in analyzing large-scale datasets.
  • Mandatory experience with frontend scripting languages: React/JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Python & PySpark programming language.
  • Experience working with AWS cloud technologies (ingestion, storage, manipulation).
  • Strong SQL/PySQL knowledge.
  • Experience with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Gradle, Webpack, and GitHub.
  • Experience in analyzing process flows, systems, sources, owners, and data with regards to predetermined metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
  • Experience in collaborative, Agile software development.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $65 – $70 per hour
