About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Talend Framework Developer to join our team. This position is based in Atlanta, Charlotte, or Raleigh, with an initial remote work period for the first few weeks. The role involves designing and implementing robust ETL/ELT data integration solutions, defining and maintaining data ingestion and transformation frameworks, and ensuring the scalability and performance of data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL/ELT data integration solutions using Talend.
- Define and maintain data ingestion frameworks for batch, real-time, and Change Data Capture (CDC) processes.
- Define and maintain data transformation and distribution frameworks.
- Create reusable components and establish development standards within Talend.
- Review and optimize job designs for performance improvements.
- Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and system scalability.
- Develop strategies for job parallelization and mainframe data handling.
- Perform memory tuning and context parameterization for optimal performance.
- Handle large datasets, complex file processing, and API integrations.
- Integrate Talend solutions with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Work with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, APIs, Kafka, and Snowflake.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for Talend jobs.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Talend Development.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Hyperscaler (Cloud) data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Familiarity with Data Lakes, Warehouses, APIs, Kafka, and Snowflake.
