Job Title: AEM Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AEM Developer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of AEM concepts, including sling models, sling servlets, key backend annotations, and multi-site manager implementation. This role requires a strong understanding of Java 8 or above, object-oriented design, and development principles. Experience with relational databases (SQL, Sybase) and web technologies (HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React, NPM, AJAX) is essential. Familiarity with build tools like Gradle and version control systems like Git/Bitbucket is also required. The candidate should be proficient in using IDEs such as IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code.
The role involves working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and has a preference for candidates with experience in the Financial Services industry. Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum) and Unix bash scripting or Python is a plus. This is a local hire position, requiring candidates to come to the client’s office for a face-to-face interview round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows.
- Implement AEM features using Java, Sling, and JCR APIs.
- Integrate AEM with other systems using RESTful services and APIs.
- Optimize AEM application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AEM environments.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of AEM solutions.
- Work with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills:
- AEM 6.4 or above, strong knowledge of AEM queries, AEM Workflow launchers, Assets API.
- Java 8 or above, Gradle, REST, SOAP, Spring Boot, JDBC.
- Database: Sybase or SQL Server, PL/SQL.
- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React, NPM, AJAX.
- Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code.
- 8-10 years of experience as an AEM developer.
- Expert-level experience in AEM, Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and development (SQL, Sybase).
- Working knowledge in web technologies across client/server-side (JS, CSS, HTML5, Angular/React), web infrastructure including web/app server/load balancing etc., caching/compression/security over web.
- Working knowledge of Unix bash scripting and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Good with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial Services industry experience.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be local to New York and available for a face-to-face client interview.
Special Requirements
Need Local – candidate has to come to office for F2F round of client Round. Financial Services industry experience will be considered an advantage.

Salary: $65 – $65 per hour
