Role Overview

The Salesforce Business Product Analyst is a pivotal role within our digital transformation team, specifically focused on the strategic integration and optimization of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC). This position serves as the primary conduit between business stakeholders and the technical engineering team, ensuring that the product roadmap is executed with precision and aligns with long-term organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and a proven track record of managing complex backlogs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and refinement of the Salesforce Product Roadmap, focusing on the seamless integration of Sales, Service, and Financial Services Clouds.
  • Manage the end-to-end Salesforce backlog, ensuring all items are prioritized based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic impact.
  • Author high-quality, “ready-for-dev” User Stories that include detailed functional requirements, technical specifications, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Orchestrate comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, coordinating with business users to validate that delivered features meet all functional and performance standards.
  • Utilize Salesforce Data Loader and CRM Analytics to drive data-led decision-making and maintain the highest levels of data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering leadership to ensure that technical solutions are scalable and adhere to best practices within the Salesforce platform.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to uncover latent business needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A 4-year Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT or Engineering roles, with a strict maximum of 8 years of total experience due to specific budget constraints.
  • At least 3 years of dedicated experience managing Salesforce backlogs and leading UAT cycles.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Data Loader and CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics).
  • Strong communication skills, rated at least 9/10, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Must be local to Raleigh, NC, or willing to relocate immediately for 100% onsite work.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Raleigh, NC
