Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Front End Developer to join our dynamic engineering team for a high-impact project in the commercial banking sector. This role is available in multiple locations, including Cleveland, OH, Buffalo, NY, Albany, NY, and Columbus, OH, and requires a 100% onsite presence from day one. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web technologies and a proven track record of building scalable, responsive, and user-centric applications. With a focus on Angular 13+ and Node.js, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience for our banking clients, ensuring that our platforms are both innovative and highly functional.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, responsive web applications using Angular 13+ (including Angular 19) and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications, leveraging the Ionic Capacitor framework to ensure a seamless cross-platform experience.
- Implement robust front-end architectures using Node Express and Bootstrap, focusing on performance and maintainability.
- Ensure all web applications adhere to the highest Web Standards and HTML semantics for accessibility and SEO optimization.
- Utilize advanced JavaScript and CSS knowledge to create sophisticated animations and interactive components.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.
- Work closely with stakeholders in the commercial banking domain to ensure technical solutions align with industry-specific needs and regulations.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8-10 years of total experience in software development, with at least 5 years dedicated to professional front-end development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Angular (versions 13 through 19), Node.js, and Node Express.
- Strong experience with Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks for building responsive layouts.
- Hands-on experience with mobile app development, specifically using the Ionic Capacitor framework.
- Deep understanding of Web Standards, HTML5, and semantic markup.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS (SASS/LESS).
- Previous experience in the Commercial Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative onsite environment.
Project Details
This is a 6-month contract engagement with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital banking initiatives. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite at one of the designated locations (Cleveland, Buffalo, Albany, or Columbus) to facilitate close collaboration with the core development team.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $65 per year
