Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salesforce Developer for a long-term contract position based onsite in Sunnyvale, California. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Salesforce development, from initial requirement gathering with stakeholders to the final deployment and maintenance of complex CRM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and the ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and executive stakeholders to define and document CRM requirements and project scopes.
  • Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Analyze complex project objectives to create efficient customer workflows and automated processes that enhance business productivity.
  • Establish realistic development timelines and milestones, ensuring that project goals are met within the specified duration.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of application stability, performance, and functionality to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues and software bugs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for all developed applications and provide training to Salesforce administrative staff and end-users.
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of application software, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability to support the growing needs of the organization.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory.
  • Extensive previous experience in professional application and software development, specifically within the Salesforce domain.
  • Proven track record of developing intuitive, customer-facing interfaces that drive engagement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • High proficiency in MySQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native development, and Visualforce.
  • Hands-on experience with development tools such as Mavens Mate, Eclipse, or VS Code with Salesforce Extensions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address high-level software and application challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Administration and Functional Design certifications.
  • Experience with Digital Transformation initiatives within a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.

This is an onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidates must be local to the California area or willing to relocate immediately. The interview process will consist of a preliminary phone screening followed by a technical Webex interview. Due to the nature of the contract, specific visa documentation including H1B details and Passport Number are required for submission.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
