Role Overview
We are looking for a specialized IVR Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in San Francisco. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our Interactive Voice Response systems and emerging AI-driven voice technologies. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing of voice applications, including traditional IVR flows and modern AI Voice BOTs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional testing, regression testing, and a deep understanding of speech-to-text and natural language processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive functional and regression testing for IVR applications and AI Voice BOTs.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Perform LLM (Large Language Model) testing to evaluate the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated responses.
- Conduct ASR (Speech-to-Text) testing to ensure high accuracy in voice recognition across diverse accents and environments.
- Validate NLU (Natural Language Understanding) components, focusing on intent recognition and entity extraction.
- Test Dialog Management systems to ensure logical and seamless conversation flows.
- Perform NLG (Natural Language Generation) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) testing for natural and clear voice output.
- Execute integration testing to ensure all components of the voice pipeline work together seamlessly.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure consistent testing coverage and timely delivery.
- Participate in daily scrums, design sessions, and requirement reviews within an Agile framework.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly testing reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct production validation and support post-deployment testing activities.
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience in IVR testing and voice application QA.
- Strong knowledge of AI Voice BOT testing and LLM evaluation techniques.
- Experience with ASR, NLU, and TTS technologies.
- Proficiency in functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with security and compliance testing for voice systems.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of utility sector systems like CC&B is a significant plus.
- Ability to manage onsite-offshore hand-over and take-over processes effectively.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
