Role Overview: ETL Tester (Healthcare Domain)
VBeyond Corporation is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL Tester to join our dynamic Agile team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract position operating on a hybrid model, requiring a professional who can seamlessly integrate into a fast-paced healthcare application development environment. As an ETL Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and performance of data-driven healthcare applications. You will be responsible for building and implementing new features while strictly adhering to the highest coding and development standards in the industry.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise
- Azure Databricks Mastery: Demonstrate strong expertise in Azure Databricks, specifically working with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog to manage complex data structures.
- Data Pipeline Management: Utilize hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, monitor, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring seamless CI/CD integration.
- Automation and Scripting: Leverage proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL to develop and execute comprehensive test automation frameworks.
- Quality Assurance Frameworks: Implement and manage data quality frameworks using tools like Great Expectations, ensuring high standards of data governance and PII compliance.
- DevOps Integration: Actively participate in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within cloud data platforms to streamline the deployment process.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile/Scrum methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project milestones and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Data Governance: Maintain a deep understanding of data governance principles, ensuring all healthcare data remains compliant with regulatory standards.
Professional Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data testing within the healthcare sector. You must have a proven track record of identifying data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks in large-scale cloud environments. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will be expected to lead technical discussions and provide insights into data quality improvements. Experience with Collibra and Azure DevOps is highly preferred. Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
