Role Overview: Project Manager with Financial Budgeting Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager with extensive experience in financial budgeting and planning to join our Digital, Sales & Service Business (DSS) Planning & Support Team. This role is critical in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of platform-related activities across our Raleigh, NC and Phoenix, AZ locations. As a Project Specialist, you will be the backbone of our business planning processes, working directly with leadership and various stakeholders to drive initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Business Planning & Support: Execute business planning processes for the DSS Platform, focusing on workforce tracking, financial reconciliation, and initiative monitoring.
  • Financial Management: Maintain meticulous records of all initiative and platform-related financial documents. You will act as the primary point of contact between finance teams and platform managers for all budget-related queries.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee the review and approval of vendor invoices, track payments, and manage contract renewals. Ensure vendors adhere to accurate billing practices and timely submissions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with large datasets to compile, consolidate, and standardize information from multiple sources. Perform deep-dive data analysis to provide actionable recommendations and insights to leadership.
  • Resource Management: Support contract management, resource onboarding/offboarding, and ensure accurate time allocation in Clarity for all employees and contractors.
  • Project Lifecycle Oversight: Assist in finalizing financials at the close of initiatives, including final reconciliations and comprehensive financial reporting.

Technical Proficiency and Experience

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the following tools and methodologies:

  • Project Management Tools: Expert level proficiency in Clarity, Jira, and SharePoint.
  • Office Suite: Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel for complex financial modeling.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong background in financial forecasting, accounting guidelines, and practices.
  • Methodologies: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management frameworks.

Special Requirements

Financial budgeting experience required; proficiency in Clarity and Jira is mandatory.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
