Role Overview: Full-Stack AI Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our innovative team in Tampa, FL. This onsite position is designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of robust software engineering and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. Technical Responsibilities and Backend Excellence
- Architect and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python to support complex AI workflows.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between frontend interfaces and machine learning models.
- Integrate advanced AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring low latency and high reliability for real-time inference.
- Optimize database schemas and data retrieval strategies to handle the high-throughput requirements of AI-driven data processing.
- Implement rigorous security protocols and performance monitoring to safeguard sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
Frontend Innovation and User Experience
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring a premium user experience across all devices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate complex AI functionalities into simple, actionable dashboard components.
- Manage complex application states using modern libraries, ensuring that data-heavy AI outputs are rendered efficiently.
- Build reusable component libraries to accelerate the development of future AI-powered modules.
AI/ML Integration and Cloud Orchestration
- Leverage Scikit-learn and TensorFlow to develop, train, and refine machine learning models tailored to specific business logic.
- Utilize Azure ML for cloud-based orchestration, model versioning, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Implement Large Language Model (LLM) integrations using frameworks like Langchain to enable natural language processing capabilities.
- Work closely with data scientists to operationalize experimental models into production-grade software solutions.
Collaboration and Engineering Standards
- Operate within an Agile framework, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and internal style guides.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the stability of the full-stack ecosystem.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, ML, and web development to continuously improve the team’s technical stack and methodology.
