Role Overview
ZealHire Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join our team in New York. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to be local to the NY or NJ area, with a commitment to being in the office at least once per week. The Salesforce Solution Architect is a critical leadership position responsible for designing, delivering, and guiding complex Salesforce solutions that align with both immediate business requirements and long-term enterprise architecture standards. This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams, ensuring that all Salesforce implementations are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: You will design end-to-end Salesforce solutions, specifically focusing on Energy and Utility Cloud, Experience Cloud, and complex integrations with external enterprise systems. You will define the system architecture, data models, and integration patterns while adhering to industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a consultant to business analysts, project managers, and executive leadership to gather and refine requirements. You will translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications, ensuring every technical decision supports a business goal.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to development teams on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and other core Salesforce technologies. You will establish governance around development cycles, release management, and environment strategies.
- Integration Management: Design and oversee the integration between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, including databases and third-party APIs. Experience with middleware such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica is highly valued.
- Governance & Best Practices: Define and enforce architecture standards, coding guidelines, and security policies. You will conduct rigorous design and code reviews to ensure the highest quality of delivery.
- Performance & Security: Ensure all solutions are optimized for reliability and compliance. You will design robust role-based access controls, data security models, and sharing rules within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Energy & Utility Cloud and Experience Cloud is mandatory.
- Development Tools: Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern release management practices.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Salesforce experience, with at least 5 years specifically in a solution architecture or technical leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Preference will be given to candidates holding Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or Integration Architecture Designer credentials.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year
