Role Overview
The Senior Node/React Developer position is a high-impact role designed for a technical leader capable of navigating the complexities of modern full-stack development in 2026. This position requires a specialized focus on Node.js (80% of the workload) and React.js (20%), ensuring that backend services are robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated with dynamic frontend components. As the industry shifts further into AI-driven architectures, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in Next.js and artificial intelligence integration to maintain a competitive edge. This is a long-term engagement requiring an onsite presence from day one in either Atlanta, GA, or Bothell, WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and implement reusable frontend components and libraries using React.js and Next.js to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Express or similar frameworks to support high-traffic applications.
- Manage data storage solutions across SQL and NoSQL platforms, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, focusing on schema design and ORM modeling.
- Integrate cutting-edge AI tools and LLMs such as Google Dialogflow, Langgraph, and Gemini/ChatGPT to enhance product capabilities.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker within AWS environments, utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, including Unit, Contract, Integration, and E2E tests, to ensure product stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architectural decisions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to maintain a high-quality codebase.
Technical Requirements
The successful candidate must possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript. Proficiency in state management using Redux and linting tools like Eslint is essential. A strong understanding of security protocols and data protection implementation is required. Experience with cloud-native services and modern DevOps tools is highly preferred. Candidates with a design mindset and strong solutioning skills will be prioritized for this senior-level role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year
