Role Overview: Claude Developer (AI/LLM Specialist)
As we move into 2026, the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise workflows has become a cornerstone of digital transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled Claude Developer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA, on a hybrid basis. This role is critical for designing, developing, and integrating AI-driven applications specifically leveraging the Claude model family by Anthropic. You will be at the forefront of prompt engineering and backend optimization, ensuring that our AI solutions are not only performant but also safe and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated AI-driven applications using Claude (Anthropic APIs) to solve complex business problems.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Implement advanced prompt engineering strategies to optimize LLM responses for specific use cases, focusing on performance, accuracy, and safety.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and middleware that support seamless AI workflows and system integrations across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, architecture, and QA, to deliver high-quality, production-ready AI solutions.
- Monitor application performance and reliability, implementing cost optimization strategies for LLM usage.
- Ensure all AI integrations adhere to strict security, privacy, and compliance best practices, particularly regarding data handling and model output.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production-grade environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating Claude or other major LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini) into commercial applications.
- Deep understanding of LLM concepts, including tokenization, context windows, and vector databases.
- Proven track record in building and consuming RESTful APIs and managing secure API designs.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
- Preferred: Experience with AI-accelerated development tools or chatbot frameworks.
- Preferred: Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or Next.js.
- Preferred: Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipeline management.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
