Role Overview

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Business Analyst for a critical onsite position in Tampa, Florida. This role is designed for a professional who possesses a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically within the Energy and Utilities sector. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will serve as the primary link between business stakeholders and the technical development team. Your mission will be to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions delivered are not only functional but also optimized for the unique challenges of the energy industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Salesforce AgentForce and the Energy & Utilities Cloud, driving digital transformation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Lead comprehensive discovery sessions with business stakeholders in the energy and utilities domain to identify, clarify, and document business needs. You will be responsible for creating detailed functional requirements and user stories that guide the development process.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights into Salesforce platform capabilities and ensuring that project goals align with broader business strategies. You will facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure consensus across diverse teams.
  • Technical Liaison: Work hand-in-hand with Salesforce developers and architects to validate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions. You will bridge the gap between “what” the business needs and “how” the technology can deliver it, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
  • Industry-Specific Implementation: Support the deployment and customization of the Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud. This involves streamlining industry-specific processes such as customer billing, service management, and regulatory compliance within the Salesforce environment.
  • Innovation with AgentForce: Participate in the design and configuration of Salesforce AgentForce functionalities. You will help define how autonomous agents can enhance agent workflows, improve automation, and provide superior customer service experiences.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies. You will recommend and implement improvements that leverage Salesforce features to increase operational efficiency and end-user satisfaction.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in defining clear acceptance criteria for all development tasks. You will support testing efforts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the final product meets all business requirements and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including process flows, data models, use cases, and requirement traceability matrices.
  • Project Monitoring: Keep a close eye on project timelines and deliverables. You will proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks and work with the team to resolve issues, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest Salesforce releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies. You will be expected to maintain a high level of expertise in the Energy Utilities Cloud and AgentForce platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as a Business Analyst on Salesforce implementations or major enhancements.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of the Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, including its specific data models, business processes, and industry-standard capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of Salesforce Platform Core Development concepts, architecture, and security models. Familiarity with Salesforce AgentForce configuration is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, including proficiency in writing user stories, managing backlogs, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and design efficient technical solutions.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year (Estimated)
