Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) ERP Support Developer to join our technical team in Edison, NJ. This role is critical for maintaining and optimizing business-critical financial and operational processes for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Great Plains ecosystem, combined with strong SQL development capabilities and a proactive approach to system troubleshooting. As we move into 2026, the landscape of ERP management requires professionals who can bridge the gap between legacy stability and modern cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP modules, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues by collaborating with global onshore and offshore delivery teams to provide 24/7 operational stability.
- Lead system upgrades, service pack installations, and configuration changes to keep the ERP environment aligned with industry best practices.
- Design, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and custom reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Support end-user issue resolution across various departments, including finance, supply chain, and operations.
- Configure workflows and manage system integrations to streamline business processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure all technical changes and system configurations are documented according to strict compliance and client-specific standards.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains support.
- Expertise in GP financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and complex data modeling.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce or retail-specific ERP integrations is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work within a global delivery model, coordinating effectively across different time zones.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes of system failures and implement long-term fixes.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
