Role Overview: Oracle Cloud EPM/EPCM Consultant
VRN Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud EPM/EPCM Consultant for a long-term, 12-month remote engagement. As we move into 2026, the demand for sophisticated financial planning and consolidation tools has never been higher. This role is critical in helping our clients navigate complex financial landscapes by leveraging the full power of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of EPM solutions, from initial architectural design and configuration to ongoing support and optimization.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Duties
- Design, configure, and provide comprehensive support for Oracle EPM and EPCM solutions, including Planning, FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close), ARCS (Account Reconciliation), EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting), and PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management).
- Architect, deploy, and maintain robust solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to facilitate advanced reporting and seamless data integrations.
- Lead application configurations, including metadata management, data mappings, and the creation of intricate business rules.
- Build and maintain integrations using Data Management, REST APIs, and automated batch processes to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, FP&A, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance Oracle solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards, particularly in regulated environments.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and the rollout of new features for Oracle Cloud and EPM platforms.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including operational runbooks and architectural diagrams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Engineer or Oracle EPM Engineer within an enterprise-scale environment.
- Proven expertise in Oracle EPM / EPCM configurations and a deep understanding of financial processes.
- Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Architecture (OCI) and cloud-native deployment strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and the management of complex joins and large datasets.
- Experience supporting financial systems in large-scale or highly regulated global organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Experience with Oracle EPM integrations, REST APIs, and advanced automation techniques.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and close/consolidation processes.
- Exposure to modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages such as Python.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud or EPM certifications are highly desirable.

Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
