As a Golang Developer, you will be at the heart of our cloud-native application development, leveraging microservices architecture to deliver robust solutions for our Fortune 500 clients.
Technical Requirements and Expertise
- Golang Proficiency: You must possess an advanced understanding of the Go programming language, including its unique approach to concurrency, memory management, and type safety. Experience with Go’s standard library and popular frameworks is essential.
- API Design and Development: A significant portion of this role involves designing and implementing RESTful and gRPC APIs. You should be adept at creating clean, well-documented interfaces that are easy for front-end teams and external partners to consume.
- Cloud-Native Ecosystem: Our infrastructure is built on AWS and GCP. You must have hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes. Understanding of service meshes and cloud-native monitoring tools is a plus.
- Database Systems: Proficiency in both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases is required. You should be able to optimize queries and design schemas that support high-concurrency environments.
- DevOps and CI/CD: We follow a rigorous DevOps culture. Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is necessary to ensure smooth and automated deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will involve writing optimized, clean, and maintainable Go code. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from initial architectural design to final deployment and maintenance. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Code reviews will be a regular part of your workflow, ensuring that the team maintains the highest standards of quality and performance. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring the high availability of our microservices.
