Position Summary
Han Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Product Manager to join a high-impact team focused on commercial and wholesale payments in New York City. This is a critical onsite role that requires a unique blend of deep functional payment expertise and hands-on technical product management skills. The successful candidate will drive the development of scalable platform-level payment solutions, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from merchant interaction to backend reconciliation.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a hybrid Product Manager and Business Analyst, taking full ownership of the product delivery cycle within two-week Agile sprints.
- Develop and maintain detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, and user stories without the assistance of separate BAs.
- Oversee the implementation of payment rails, including ACH, domestic and international wires, cross-border FX, and push-to-card technologies.
- Design and enhance merchant-facing experiences, including portals for refunds, reversals, reporting, and transaction performance analytics.
- Build and optimize internal operations tools, creating efficient workflows for support teams and internal tooling.
- Collaborate directly with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery of complex payment features.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and provide ongoing support to technical teams throughout the development process.
Required Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of the commercial and wholesale payments landscape, including banking rails and PayPal-like payment flows.
- Experience building scalable payment platforms for large-scale enterprises (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Expedia).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including merchant onboarding, transaction processing, and payout reconciliation.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards associated with financial transactions and tax statements.
Qualifications
- 4 to 10 years of experience in Product Management or a hybrid BA/PM role within the fintech or payments industry.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment without managerial overhead.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in delivering products within an Agile framework.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
