Role Overview: Pega Lead Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Lead Business Analyst (LBA) to spearhead business analysis efforts within our Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance (BCM&I) division. This role is critical for driving digital transformation projects utilizing the Pega Infinity Platform, with a specific focus on Constellation UX and modular design principles. The successful candidate will act as the primary bridge between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, compliant, and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Lead comprehensive business analysis workstreams for high-stakes Pega implementations across the financial services and insurance sectors.
- Collaborate deeply with System Architects and Lead Decision Architects to ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications that leverage Pega’s out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Focus on the implementation of Constellation UX to deliver modern, efficient, and modular user interfaces that enhance the end-user experience.
- Navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance within the banking and insurance domains, ensuring all workflows meet strict legal and operational standards.
- Define and document detailed functional specifications, complex process flows, and intricate data mappings tailored to BCM and Insurance operations.
- Maintain alignment with the Common Data Model (CDM) and enterprise-wide integration standards to ensure seamless data flow across disparate financial systems.
- Manage high-level stakeholder engagement, facilitating workshops and steering committee meetings to align project goals with business KPIs and SLAs.
- Oversee change control processes, ensuring that any deviations from the initial scope are properly vetted, documented, and approved.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of professional business analysis experience, with at least 3 years dedicated specifically to Pega-based projects.
- Mandatory Pega Business Architect (PCBA) certification.
- In-depth knowledge of the Pega Infinity Platform and hands-on experience with Pega Constellation.
- Proven track record in the Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance industries, with a deep understanding of financial product workflows.
- Expertise in modular design and the ability to advocate for Pega best practices to avoid unnecessary customization.
- Strong proficiency in documenting integration requirements and working with REST/SOAP services within a Pega context.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical Pega concepts to non-technical business owners.
Onboarding and Compliance
Please note that this position requires a mandatory comprehensive background check. Due to specific client onboarding protocols, a ‘meet and greet’ session is required for all new hires. Candidates must be prepared to visit the nearest Capgemini or client onsite location in New York or other designated hubs to meet with team leadership prior to the official start date. If the candidate is not local to the New York area, travel expenses for this meeting will be covered by the organization. This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring a consistent physical presence in the New York office as dictated by project needs.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
