Role Overview: Web Designer (Accessibility & Drupal Focus)
Digital iTechnology is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer for a long-term, remote W2 position. This role is critical for a project focused on enhancing web accessibility and form content for high-traffic digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creative design skills and technical proficiency in modern web standards, specifically focusing on ADA compliance and Drupal 10 environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all web and form content meets the latest ADA compliance standards, WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines, and DPI procedures.
- Technical Support: Provide professional and punctual technical support for web and form services, addressing issues related to formatting, functionality, and usability.
- Documentation: Publish and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design best practices, style guides, font guidelines, and accessibility standards.
- Form Development: Utilize expert knowledge of electronic form software tools (Adobe, Microsoft Forms, DocuSign) to create user-friendly and accessible data collection points.
- Drupal Management: Work within Drupal 10 to resolve issues, manage content objects, and collaborate on the construction of new sites or the enhancement of existing ones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with communications teams and IT staff to define web needs and provide a framework for construction and site optimization.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on testing of custom modules, themes, and content objects to ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Platform Proficiency: Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal (specifically Drupal 10), DocuSign, and Microsoft Forms.
- Web Standards: Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and the latest best practices in web development.
- Accessibility Expertise: Proven track record of implementing accessibility requirements in complex web forms and high-traffic website content.
- Soft Skills: Strong collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex formatting and functionality issues within CMS frameworks.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $105,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
