Role Overview
Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background as a Scrum Master for a long-term contract opportunity in Englewood, Colorado. This dual-function role is designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution. The ideal candidate will be a champion of Agile methodologies, ensuring that delivery teams remain focused, efficient, and aligned with the overarching business strategy. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for deep-diving into stakeholder needs, translating them into actionable technical solutions, and ensuring that the final product enhances the overall customer experience. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate the core Agile ceremonies and lead the team through the complexities of a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile & Scrum Leadership: Facilitate all essential sprint ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will be responsible for removing blockers and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles.
- PI Planning & SAFe: Lead and support Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions within a SAFe environment, coordinating with other teams to manage dependencies and ensure synchronized delivery.
- Backlog Management: Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage, prioritize, and refine the Product Backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and ready for development.
- Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements through workshops, interviews, and data analysis. Translate these requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress and risks.
- Process Optimization: Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for operational improvement and drive innovation through Agile methodologies.
- Project Oversight: Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor timelines, and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Customer Experience (CX): Provide strategic insights to enhance the customer journey and evaluate project outcomes against business objectives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities. A mandatory Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required, while a PMP certification is highly preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in SAFe or other scaled Agile environments. Technical proficiency in project management tools and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) are essential. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a professional with exceptional communication skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a passion for continuous improvement. Special Requirements
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Mandatory. PMP Preferred. PI Planning experience in SAFe environment preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
