Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Administrator with specialized expertise in Copado DevOps to join a critical project for Con Edison in New York City. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem within the Utility and Energy sector, ensuring that production environments remain highly available and efficient. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customer operations, field services, billing integrations, and complex regulatory processes. This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite at the Irving Place location in Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for energy programs, billing integrations, and service request modules. You will configure and maintain advanced declarative automations using Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
- Object Management: Design and maintain custom and standard objects specifically aligned to utility industry processes, including Service Points, Work Orders, Assets, and Enhancements.
- User & Security Management: Manage users, roles, profiles, and permission sets while ensuring strict adherence to Security and Segregation of Duties (SOD) protocols.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor org health, data volumes, integration performance, and overall system stability to prevent outages.
- Copado DevOps: Administer the Copado platform across multiple environments, including Developer Sandboxes, Integration/QA, UAT, and Production.
- Release Management: Enforce Copado best practices regarding branching strategies, promotion paths, and user story lifecycle management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Developers and QA teams to resolve deployment conflicts, regression issues, and environment inconsistencies.
- Support: Provide expert troubleshooting for production issues, bugs, and outages impacting field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Administration within large-scale enterprise environments.
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience with Copado DevOps for release management and deployment automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Flows and advanced declarative automation tools.
- Proven experience supporting regulated environments, preferably within the Utility or Energy sectors.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and complex data model design.
- Active Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) and Salesforce Advanced Administrator certifications are mandatory.
- Copado Fundamentals or Advanced Certification is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document complex technical processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in Utility, Energy, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Apex programming, Metadata API, and Source Control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework.
Special Requirements
Visa: Open to GC, USC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, H1B. Must be local to NY for F2F interview. Domain: Utility or Energy sector experience required. Interview: Video followed by In-Person.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year
