Role Overview
Altitude Technology Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead critical finance and technology transformation projects within a premier alternative asset management business. This hybrid role, based in New York City, requires a professional who can navigate complex environments and drive large-scale initiatives such as ERP implementations, data modernization, and process re-engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical project management expertise and deep financial acumen, ensuring that strategic growth and operational efficiency are achieved through disciplined Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for strategic initiatives, moving from initial planning through to successful execution and post-implementation review.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains focused and productive.
- Drive finance transformation programs, focusing on the modernization of core processes such as financial closing, FP&A, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships, influencing senior executives and collaborating with global teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Utilize advanced data and project management tools, including JIRA for tracking, Power BI for reporting, and specialized financial tools like Anaplan or OneStream.
- Implement process re-engineering strategies to eliminate bottlenecks and improve the overall quality of financial data and reporting.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and transparency within the Agile framework.
- Monitor project health through KPIs and metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, specifically within the asset management, finance transformation, or management consulting sectors.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale transformational projects, particularly those involving ERP systems and data architecture.
- Strong proficiency in JIRA and Power BI; additional experience with Alteryx, Anaplan, or OneStream is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical executive audiences.
- Deep understanding of financial markets and the operational requirements of alternative asset management firms.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, requiring three days per week in the New York City office.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year
