Role Overview: Mainframe Systems Programmer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our dynamic technical team in Trenton, New Jersey. This is a hybrid role that requires a deep understanding of legacy systems combined with the ability to adapt to modern processing environments. As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex mainframe environments that support mission-critical business operations.
Key Technical Requirements
- Expertise in DDMs and Natural Structured Mode language models.
- Full proficiency in ADABAS Data Access and management.
- Extensive experience with JCL Batch Processing and Online Processing environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Remote Job Entry (RJE) Processing.
- Comprehensive mastery of Mainframe Utilities for system maintenance and performance tuning.
- Ability to resolve production issues independently through rigorous research and technical analysis.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between technical infrastructure and user groups. You will work closely with various stakeholders to define system needs, understand complex functional requirements, and ensure that system processes align with organizational goals.
