Position Summary
GAC Solutions is looking for an experienced OpenText Exstream Engineer to join our technical team in New York for a 6-12 month hybrid contract. This role is centered on the design, development, and optimization of complex customer communication management (CCM) solutions. As organizations increasingly move toward hyper-personalized, multi-channel delivery models in 2026, your expertise in OpenText Exstream will be vital in ensuring that our client’s communications—ranging from policies and claims to regulatory notices—are delivered with precision and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex customer communications using OpenText Exstream Design Manager and Communication Designer.
- Create and maintain high-quality templates for letters, notices, insurance policies, and claims documents.
- Implement content authoring and orchestration workflows to streamline document generation processes.
- Manage batch, on-demand, and interactive communication processing to meet diverse business needs.
- Architect and implement XML and JSON data models, ensuring accurate schema design and data mapping.
- Integrate OpenText Exstream with various upstream and downstream systems, including Policy Administration, CRM, ECM, and Claims systems.
- Perform data transformation, enrichment, and pre-processing logic to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Exstream applications to optimize throughput.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for schemas, data dictionaries, and mapping specifications.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream. Proficiency with OpenText Exstream CN Design Manager and Communication Designer is a core requirement. You should have a solid understanding of CCM concepts, document composition, and the nuances of multi-channel delivery (print, email, web, mobile). Technical expertise in XML/JSON and the ability to handle complex data mappings are essential. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in New York.

Salary: $150,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
