Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned SAP Finance Consultant for a critical 6-month engagement. This role is designed for a senior professional with over 10 years of deep expertise in SAP financial modules, specifically focusing on S4HANA implementations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Record to Report (RTR) process within a complex global environment, specifically supporting EMEA region projects and country-specific implementations. This position requires an onsite presence in one of our key hubs: Atlanta, GA; Frisco, TX; or Omaha, NE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements for financial processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and local legal requirements.
  • Design, configure, and implement the Record to Report (RTR) process within the S4HANA environment, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage and execute S4HANA Brownfield implementations and roll-out projects, navigating the complexities of migrating legacy data and processes.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP Finance and other modules such as PTP (Procure to Pay), OTC (Order to Cash), TM (Transportation Management), and Tax.
  • Partner with the Financial Systems team to provide robust solution designs, comprehensive testing strategies, and detailed functional documentation.
  • Develop Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and coordinate with technical ABAP teams to deliver high-quality WRICEFs (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
  • Oversee the migration of accounting data from both ERP and Non-ERP systems into the S4HANA landscape, ensuring data integrity and reconciliation.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP FI sub-modules, including Asset Accounting, Tax, and General Ledger.

Required Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO).
  • Proven track record with S4HANA implementations, specifically Brownfield migrations and global roll-outs.
  • Extensive experience with EMEA region projects and implementing country-specific legal and tax requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP FI, Asset Accounting, and Tax configuration.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP to facilitate effective communication with technical developers and troubleshoot functional issues.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and implementing RTR processes.
  • Experience in data migration strategies and tools for S4HANA.

Professional Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Strong team player mentality, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in the Spanish language is considered a significant advantage for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • SAP S4HANA Finance certification is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $185,000 – $255,000 per year (Estimated)
