Role Overview
Arbor Teksystems is seeking a highly seasoned UI Developer with over 12 years of professional experience to join our client’s team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a critical onsite position starting from day one, requiring a candidate who is not only a master of React.js but also a strategic thinker in front-end architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the development of modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications that serve millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop sophisticated user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Build and maintain a robust library of reusable components and front-end libraries for use across multiple projects.
- Translate complex UX/UI designs into high-quality code using modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in deep-dive code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Drive Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Technical Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Front End Development with a heavy focus on the React ecosystem.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Deep understanding of state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is highly preferred for modernizing the stack.
- Hands-on experience with build tools like Webpack, Vite, npm, or yarn.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
