Position Overview
In the rapidly advancing digital landscape of 2026, Salesforce remains the cornerstone of enterprise CRM. We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with a mastery of Lightning technologies for a 6-month Contract-to-Hire (C2H) position based in New York City. This role requires a hybrid presence, blending the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative benefits of our NYC office. The ideal candidate is a technical powerhouse capable of designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically focusing on Lightning Web Components (LWC) and complex integrations.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance solutions using Apex, Lightning Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Architect and implement asynchronous processes to handle large-scale data operations and improve system responsiveness.
- Utilize deep knowledge of SOQL and SOSL to optimize data queries and search functionality across complex data models.
- Write robust, high-coverage Test Classes to ensure the stability and reliability of the codebase in a continuous integration environment.
- Lead the development and customization of Sales Cloud modules, with additional contributions to Service Cloud initiatives.
- Build and maintain sophisticated integrations using REST API, SOAP, and Enterprise Messaging-bus frameworks.
- Leverage Middleware and ETL tools, such as Boomi, to facilitate seamless data flow between Salesforce and external systems.
Architectural and Analytical Leadership
- Provide strategic technical input to solution designs, advocating for best practices in Salesforce implementation.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce features, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational goals.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues using IDEs, native Salesforce debuggers, and log analysis for both core and Lightning development.
- Manage the end-to-end release process within a structured environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Implement and maintain the Salesforce.com Security Model, ensuring data privacy and compliance across all custom developments.
Professional Requirements
- Extensive experience in Salesforce development with a focus on the Lightning platform.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, participating actively in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, hybrid work environment.
- Prior experience with ETL tools like Boomi or MuleSoft is highly desirable.
Work Environment
This role is situated in the heart of New York City and follows a hybrid model. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview in NYC. The position begins as a 6-month contract with a clear path to permanent hire based on performance and business needs. Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 per year (Estimated)
