- Experience with ancillary database technologies such as Delphix for data virtualization and masking.
- Ability to work across multiple DBMS platforms, including Oracle, Sybase, and PostgreSQL, as required by the environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
- Must be local to NYC and available for a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite).
- Experience with database security hardening and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
Strategic Vision and Leadership

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who balances innovation with the absolute necessity of system stability. This includes driving the adoption of DevOps practices for database deployments and ensuring that the data architecture can support advanced analytics and real-time reporting requirements. The Lead DBA will be instrumental in navigating the transition from on-premises infrastructure to hybrid cloud environments, ensuring that data remains accessible, secure, and performant throughout the journey.
