Role Overview: SAP Security and GRC Consultant
Quantum World Technologies is looking for a Senior SAP Security and GRC Consultant for a strategic 6-month contract engagement in Raritan, NJ. This role is pivotal for an organization looking to strengthen its Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework within an SAP environment. The consultant will be responsible for the full lifecycle of GRC implementation and support, focusing on Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules. As enterprises move toward more integrated and automated security models in 2026, the expertise provided by this consultant will be essential for maintaining a compliant and secure ERP landscape. The 6-month duration is subject to extension based on project needs and performance.
- Design, implement, and support SAP GRC solutions, specifically focusing on Access Control (AC), Process Control (PC), and Risk Management (RM).
- Conduct detailed Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis to identify and mitigate potential security conflicts.
- Configure and deploy GRC components including ARA (Access Risk Analysis), ARM (Access Request Management), and EAM (Emergency Access Management/Firefighter).
- Maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorization objects across ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, and Fiori platforms.
- Define and update rule sets to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX and GDPR.
- Perform regular system checks and support internal and external audits by providing comprehensive compliance reports.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of ERP control frameworks and hands-on experience in role creation and authorization design. The role requires a deep knowledge of SAP Security concepts and the ability to navigate the complexities of S/4HANA migrations. In Raritan, NJ, a hub for pharmaceutical and life sciences innovation, compliance is of the utmost importance. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that security controls are not only effective but also aligned with operational goals. This includes configuring User Access Review (UAR) workflows and managing user provisioning to prevent unauthorized access.
