Role Overview: Lead Gen AIML Expert
TestingXperts is seeking a highly sophisticated Lead Gen AIML Expert for a critical 6-month contract engagement based onsite in Iselin, NJ. This role is designed for a visionary technical leader with over 12 years of experience in the artificial intelligence and machine learning domain. As a high-level individual contributor and lead researcher, you will be the primary architect behind the core intelligence of our next-generation product suite. This position requires a rare blend of deep technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex AI concepts to executive stakeholders through high-impact briefings. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technical vision and ensuring that our AI initiatives remain at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities and Architectural Leadership
- Design and lead the development of comprehensive end-to-end ML systems, ensuring seamless data ingestion and robust MLOps orchestration.
- Implement State-of-the-Art (SOTA) solutions in Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) by translating the latest academic research into production-ready features.
- Optimize and scale AI models to solve complex bottlenecks related to latency and cost-efficiency, utilizing techniques such as quantization and pruning.
- Provide technical mentorship by reviewing code and model architectures, establishing rigorous testing standards and evaluation frameworks.
- Champion Responsible AI practices to ensure ethical and unbiased model deployment across all platforms.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to determine the technical feasibility of ‘moonshot’ AI features and lead generation strategies.
Technical Requirements and Expertise
The ideal candidate will possess expert-level proficiency in Python, C++, or Java, coupled with extensive experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX. You should have a proven track record of managing large-scale distributed training environments and real-time inference engines. Beyond technical skills, the role demands a strategic mindset capable of aligning AI development with broader business objectives. Your experience should include a history of architecting systems that are not only innovative but also scalable and maintainable in a high-pressure production environment. We are looking for a leader who stays ahead of the curve, constantly exploring new methodologies in the AI space to maintain a competitive edge. The Lead Gen AIML Expert will also be tasked with evaluating third-party AI tools and services to determine their suitability for integration into the existing ecosystem. This involves conducting rigorous Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations and benchmarking performance against internal models. Furthermore, the role requires a deep understanding of data privacy regulations and how they impact AI model training and deployment. You will work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure that all AI initiatives are fully compliant with global standards. The 6-month contract period is expected to be intensive, focusing on the delivery of high-priority AI features that will define the product’s market position for the coming years. Compensation & Location
Salary: $195,000 – $265,000 per year (Estimated)
