Position Summary: Senior Salesforce Architect
We are looking for an exceptionally sharp Senior Salesforce Architect to take ownership of the enterprise architecture for a global Salesforce implementation. This is a high-impact, hands-on role designed for a technical leader who can navigate between high-level strategic design and deep-dive technical execution. The primary focus of this engagement is to define end-to-end integration architecture for new capabilities, with a specific emphasis on optimizing lead-to-revenue flows and remediating legacy technical debt within a complex multisystem environment.
Key Architectural Responsibilities
- Own the solution architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ (Revenue Cloud), ensuring a unified and scalable data model.
- Design and optimize the integration between Marketo and Salesforce, focusing on lead enrichment, intelligent routing, and lifecycle management.
- Lead technical debt remediation efforts by identifying inefficient customizations and replacing them with out-of-the-box Salesforce features.
- Produce comprehensive technical artifacts, including integration maps, data flow diagrams, and build-ready user stories for development teams.
- Architect enterprise-grade integrations using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato to ensure seamless data synchronization.
- Provide expert guidance on Salesforce AI capabilities (Einstein) and how they can be leveraged to enhance Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
Technical Leadership and Execution
As a Salesforce Architect, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. You will be responsible for validating deliverables from existing vendors and ensuring that all code and configurations meet enterprise standards for performance and maintainability. Your role involves driving the adoption of modern development practices, including source-driven development and automated deployment pipelines. You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment where the ability to pivot between strategic planning and troubleshooting complex Apex or Lightning Web Component issues is essential.
Professional Growth and Requirements
This remote contract position offers the opportunity to work on one of the most sophisticated Salesforce instances in the industry. We value continuous professional development and strongly prefer candidates who hold advanced certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or those on the Certified Technical Architect (CTA) path. With a requirement of 12-15 years of professional experience, we are looking for a seasoned veteran who has seen the evolution of the Salesforce platform and knows how to build for the future while respecting the constraints of the present.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $215,000 – $275,000 per year
