Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network L3 Administrator to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team in Atlanta, GA. This is a critical onsite position requiring a deep technical understanding of enterprise-grade networking environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and high-level support of our global network architecture, ensuring maximum uptime and performance in alignment with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of complex Routing and Switching solutions across a multi-geo support environment.
- Configure and maintain dynamic routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF to ensure optimal traffic flow and redundancy.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Meraki hardware, including Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K series switches and wireless LAN technologies.
- Oversee the integration of cloud networking components, specifically within AWS and Aviatrix environments.
- Perform comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical network incidents and implement long-term remediation strategies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, representing network infrastructure changes and assessing risks.
- Maintain and optimize IP services, including IPAM, DNS, and DHCP, ensuring seamless connectivity for all enterprise users.
- Develop and maintain a robust test environment for validating network configurations before production deployment.
- Identify skill gaps within the junior team and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to improve overall technical competency.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of dedicated Network Administration experience in a large-scale enterprise setting.
- Expert-level proficiency with Cisco Routers and Switches (L2/L3).
- Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Network Design, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Hands-on expertise with Meraki Wireless and VPN solutions.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture and IP services documentation.
- Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) or equivalent industry-standard networking credentials are highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) is considered a significant advantage.
Soft Skills and Communication
Beyond technical prowess, this role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ability to handle high-pressure situations and escalated troubleshooting calls is essential for success in this L3 capacity.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
