Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Developer with specialized expertise in Kofax to join our enterprise team in Atlanta, GA. This role is focused on the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated document capture and automation solutions. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance systems that streamline data extraction and workflow automation across the organization. This position requires onsite presence from Day 1, offering a collaborative environment to solve complex technical challenges in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement custom Kofax workflows tailored to specific business requirements and document types.
  • Develop advanced data extraction models using Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance capture solutions that handle both structured and unstructured document processing.
  • Automate document classification, extraction, validation, and routing to reduce manual intervention and operational costs.
  • Integrate Kofax solutions with various Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms, relational databases, and cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and consume robust web services using REST and SOAP protocols to ensure seamless system interoperability.
  • Create custom components and scripts using C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, and VBScript to extend platform functionality.
  • Apply rigorous Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Kofax servers and scanning environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Perform system tuning, upgrades, and service pack implementations to keep the environment secure and up-to-date.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to create and execute detailed test plans for all automation solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on the .NET framework.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kofax technologies, specifically Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM).
  • Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, and scripting languages such as JavaScript and VBScript.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise document management and workflow automation principles.
  • Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP) and database management systems.
  • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, starting from the first day of the engagement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality enterprise solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
