Role Overview
Kappium LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drupal Developer for an onsite position in Rockville, Maryland. This role is pivotal in our efforts to restructure and optimize migrated content for a diverse user base, including employees, retirees, and job seekers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of content management systems, specifically Drupal, and will be instrumental in ensuring that our digital presence is clear, accurate, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities
- Review and organize migrated content within the Drupal CMS to ensure structural integrity and logical flow.
- Rebuild and configure web pages to align with new site designs and navigation frameworks, ensuring a modern and intuitive user interface.
- Develop and update HR intranet pages using the SharePoint platform, focusing on user experience and accessibility for internal staff.
- Maintain content accuracy and consistency while adhering strictly to corporate branding guidelines and style manuals.
- Optimize all web pages for usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 standards), and SEO performance to maximize reach and compliance.
- Make informed design and layout decisions to enhance the visual appeal and functional efficiency of the web properties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OHR staff, project leaders, and technical developers, to resolve migration challenges and implement updates.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance checks prior to content publication to ensure error-free delivery.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience managing content in Drupal, including advanced page setup and complex configuration.
- Strong ability to independently troubleshoot content migration issues, formatting discrepancies, and technical glitches.
- Solid understanding of web content strategy, information architecture, and user experience (UX) principles.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS for minor content adjustments and styling refinements.
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive web design.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with SharePoint or similar enterprise platforms to develop and maintain intranet pages.
- Previous involvement in large-scale website redesign or migration projects.
- Basic graphic editing skills, such as resizing and optimizing images for web performance.
- Familiarity with modern SEO tools and analytics platforms to track page performance.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year
