Role Overview: Technical Project Manager (Pricing Implementation)
DMS Visions Inc is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager to spearhead complex, large-scale Pricing Software Implementation programs. This is a pivotal role designed for a professional who can navigate the intricacies of enterprise-level software deployment while maintaining a clear focus on business objectives. As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional technical teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that multi-year enterprise projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards. You will serve as the critical bridge between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of enterprise pricing platforms such as PriceFx, Vendavo, Zilliant, or PROS, ensuring alignment with global pricing strategies.
- Manage multiple, highly complex, large-scale, cross-functional projects concurrently, maintaining a high level of organization and strategic oversight.
- Define and monitor critical project metrics, KPIs, and ROI analysis to provide transparent reporting to executive leadership.
- Facilitate Agile development processes, working closely with Scrum teams to remove blockers and ensure continuous delivery.
- Execute robust risk management strategies, identifying potential bottlenecks early and implementing mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
- Oversee scope control and dependency tracking across various workstreams to prevent project creep and ensure resource optimization.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand technical constraints and plan execution phases accordingly.
- Deliver comprehensive stakeholder status reports, providing clear insights into project health, budget utilization, and milestone achievements.
Required Technical Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of dedicated Project Management experience within the Information Technology sector.
- Proven track record of leading Pricing Software Implementation projects, specifically involving Price Optimization, Management, or CPQ platforms.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and proficiency with industry-standard PM tools.
- Experience in defining business cases and conducting financial analysis related to software implementation ROI.
- Strong background in managing enterprise-level integrations, cloud platforms, and database migrations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in software development or coding, providing a deeper understanding of the development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Prince2 are highly desirable.
