Position Summary
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is looking for a visionary Technical AI Product Owner to lead the delivery of transformative AI use-cases in New York City. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex business challenges and advanced artificial intelligence solutions. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and service design to production deployment and scaling. You will work at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business strategy to ensure that our AI initiatives deliver measurable value and align with our long-term roadmap.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead service design workshops to identify high-impact business problems and map them to viable AI and machine learning solutions.
- Define and communicate the product vision, value proposition, and strategic roadmap for AI-driven products.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of AI deployments.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the technical delivery teams, including UI/UX designers, architects, and developers.
- Manage the product backlog by creating detailed epics, features, and user stories, ensuring they are prioritized based on business value.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to maintain high team velocity and alignment.
- Validate AI model performance and functionality, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and APIs.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to manage environment setup and obtain necessary governance approvals, including APIGEE/API reviews.
- Oversee rollout and scaling strategies to ensure smooth transitions from pilot phases to full-scale production environments.
- Provide regular status reporting and manage timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in AI product delivery or technical product management.
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycles, including data preparation, model training, and deployment.
- Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships and navigating corporate governance processes.
- Experience with product design, prototyping, and user experience (UX) principles in the context of AI applications.
- Familiarity with API management tools like APIGEE and cloud infrastructure components.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Work Schedule and Location
This position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite at our NYC office 3 days per week. This arrangement provides the perfect balance of collaborative in-person interaction and the flexibility of remote work. Candidates should be prepared to engage deeply with the local NYC tech ecosystem and participate in onsite strategy sessions.
Special Requirements
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite in NYC. Experience with APIGEE and API governance is highly preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
