Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Flutter Developer to join our Financial Services and Insurance practice in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications that transform digital customer journeys in the insurance industry. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and UX designers to build secure, scalable, and seamless mobile experiences for both Android and iOS platforms using the Flutter framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for insurance processes such as policy servicing, claims, and billing.
- Build reusable UI components and implement advanced state management solutions using Bloc, Provider, or Riverpod.
- Integrate mobile apps with complex backend services, REST APIs, and enterprise authentication systems.
- Ensure application performance, accessibility, and security meet industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate wireframes into high-fidelity mobile interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile app delivery.
- Identify and resolve defects during testing cycles to ensure end-to-end validation of user journeys.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in building and deploying cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Strong understanding of mobile development principles, including component lifecycles and responsive layouts.
- Experience with secure data handling and integrating with JSON-based RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of the mobile app deployment process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a client-facing consulting environment.
Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of insurance workflows, including customer onboarding, agent interactions, and payments.
- Experience working within the financial services sector is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards relevant to financial data protection.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
