Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CPQ Billing Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) solutions. This 100% remote role is critical for defining the architectural vision for Salesforce Revenue Cloud, ensuring that pricing, taxation, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes are scalable, compliant, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Define and drive the technical roadmap for Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) implementations, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise goals.
- Solution Design: Design robust data models and workflows for complex pricing structures, global taxation requirements, and automated invoicing cycles.
- ERP Integration: Lead the design and implementation of seamless integrations between Salesforce and SAP ERP systems, utilizing synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
- Technical Governance: Establish and enforce architectural best practices, conducting code and design reviews to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Proof of Concepts (POCs): Lead the development of POCs for order management and billing, providing detailed analysis of pros, cons, and technical feasibility.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a primary advisor to client leadership on billing processes, financial accounting integration, and Quote-to-Cash optimization.
Technical Requirements
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce Billing data model and Revenue Cloud ecosystem.
- Integration Patterns: Proven experience designing integrations using Platform Events, Composite APIs, and middleware (MuleSoft preferred).
- Financial Knowledge: Strong grasp of revenue recognition standards and financial accounting principles as they relate to automated billing.
- Performance Optimization: Experience architecting for high-volume billing environments and optimizing system performance for large data sets.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist are highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
