Role Overview: Senior Oracle ADF Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) Developer for a critical 6-month engagement in Atlanta, Georgia. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development, with a specific and mandatory focus on Oracle ADF 12c for at least 4 to 5 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise-level applications using the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.
Technical Requirements and Responsibilities
- Expertise in Oracle ADF 12c is mandatory, including deep knowledge of ADF Business Components (BC), ADF Faces, ADF Task Flows, and ADF Data Bindings.
- Strong proficiency in Java EE (J2EE) technologies and web application development.
- Hands-on experience with application servers such as Oracle WebLogic (preferred), JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat.
- Extensive experience using Oracle JDeveloper as the primary Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
- Proven track record with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle BPEL for process orchestration and integration.
- Advanced skills in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL for database-level logic and performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective code fixes for both enhancements and urgent issues.
- Experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering and design to deployment and operations support.
Communication and Leadership
As a senior member of the technical team, you will be expected to meet with client business analysts to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications. You will play a pivotal role in explaining design frameworks and functionality to both onsite and offshore team members, ensuring a cohesive development effort. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for providing management with timely status updates and identifying areas for process improvement. You must possess a strong analytical ability to review business requirements, identify gaps, and ensure that the final solution meets all objectives while adhering to enterprise standards.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
