Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle EBS Financial Technical Consultant to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials and hands-on experience with AME, Workflow, and APEX development. The consultant will be responsible for developing custom solutions, supporting financial modules, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. This is a 24-month contract position requiring 5 days onsite in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
- Develop and implement custom solutions using Oracle AME (Approval Management Engine), Oracle Workflow, and Oracle APEX.
- Perform extensive PL/SQL development to support financial modules and custom requirements.
- Work with Oracle Financial modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Procurement.
- Design and develop custom workflows, approval rules, and routing logic to meet business needs.
- Implement and manage Oracle APIs, interfaces, and data integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues within the Oracle EBS environment.
- Support production environments, including enhancements, patches, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with functional teams and business users to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle AME (Approval Management Engine).
- Proficiency in Oracle Workflow development and configuration.
- Solid experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL development.
- Experience working with Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Procurement).
- Demonstrated experience in developing custom workflows, approval rules, and routing logic.
- Experience in implementing and managing Oracle APIs, interfaces, and data integration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in an Oracle EBS environment.
- Experience supporting production environments and implementing enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2 environments.
- Experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, or Forms personalization.
- Exposure to Oracle Integration technologies.
- Experience supporting financial approval workflows and compliance processes.
- Oracle technical certifications are a plus.
