Job Summary
BrightSol is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Apps Developer Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and overall Power Platform architecture, with a proven ability to lead complex development initiatives and architect enterprise-grade applications. While the role is based in Houston, TX, remote work is a possibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design comprehensive solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Develop sophisticated Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps applications tailored to business needs.
- Build, configure, and optimize complex workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes.
- Seamlessly integrate Power Platform solutions with core Microsoft ecosystems such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint, as well as various external systems and APIs.
- Provide strong technical leadership and strategic architecture guidance for all Power Platform implementation projects.
- Ensure all developed solutions adhere to industry best practices for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to meticulously gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Power Platform applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
- Stay current with the latest features and updates within the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and best practice guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-driven applications.
- Expert-level knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation and Power Platform architecture principles.
- Proven experience integrating the Power Platform with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and various external APIs.
- A solid understanding of Dataverse, including tables, relationships, and security models.
- Proficiency in working with Power Platform connectors and understanding Power Platform governance strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within large enterprise environments.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) are highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a dedicated solution architecture or technical leadership role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a significant plus.
Special Requirements
Only C2C. Max rate $60/hr on C2C. Remote possible.
