Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications utilizing the .NET Core framework.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, design solutions, and successfully ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, strictly adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to code quality.
- Effectively debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution to minimize downtime.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking ways to enhance development processes and product offerings.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software development methodologies and best practices within the team.
Mandatory Skills:
- .NET Core: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with the .NET Core framework.
- API Development: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and understanding of microservices architecture.
- Object-Oriented Programming: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in essential frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Databases: Experience with database management systems, with a strong preference for SQL Server.
- Version Control: Familiarity and practical experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Experience working with major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks and a good understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software development.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Work Ethic: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
