Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Test Engineer with a strong background in automation and API testing. This is an onsite contract position requiring 3-4 days per week in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in QA automation, proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript, and experience with API testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Perform API testing and develop automation frameworks for API testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Test microservices architecture and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) Automation or as an SDET.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Proven experience with API Testing and developing automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Experience testing microservices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite 3-4 days per week in Alpharetta, GA.
- Local candidates preferred for face-to-face interviews.
Additional Information:
This is an 8+ month contract role. The interview process will involve a face-to-face (onsite) interview. We are looking for candidates who are local to the Alpharetta, GA area.
