Job Summary:

Forgent Power LLC is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance (Test) Lead to manage and oversee end-to-end testing activities for our Enterprise Applications department. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT ERP/CRM systems, maintaining compliance with company standards, and executing critical test cycles. The position is based in Vernon, CA, and offers a Hybrid work mode.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and effective test cases for various ERP/CRM applications.
  • Ensure thorough execution of functional, integration, regression, performance, SIT, and UAT testing cycles.
  • Validate APIs, services, and map layers using both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Perform cross-functional and cross-platform testing to guarantee consistent application performance across new and existing process flows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other teams to align testing activities with project requirements and timelines.
  • Identify, document, and meticulously track defects using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and participate in defect triaging to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to QA best practices, established testing standards, and relevant Manufacturing/IT industry regulations.
  • Provide regular test progress reports and key metrics to IT and business stakeholders.

Automation Tools:

  • Contribute to test automation initiatives, with a focus on API testing, ERP/CRM Process Flows, Integrations, and workflow validation.
  • Leverage automation tools like Selenium to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
  • Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, while manual testing remains a primary focus.

Team Management Skills:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a quality testing team to achieve project goals.
  • Foster effective collaboration and knowledge sharing among IT cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles according to the project plan and milestones.
  • Engage actively in requirement analysis, business requirements discussions, and Functional/Technical design discussions, including test signoffs, to ensure business expectations are met.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant QA technical experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Automation testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) is required.
  • Must possess functional skills in SaaS ERP and CRM applications such as Infor Syteline, Oracle NetSuite, EPICOR, and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated experience with the execution of test cycles including Quote to Cash (Q2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Financials, and other Integration process flows.
  • Experience with engineered-to-order domain is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile testing processes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce) and ERP Application concepts (frontend vs. backend, APIs, frameworks, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of developing test scripts and the ability to test them in modern automation testing frameworks.
  • Experience with API automation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

  • More than 12 years of relevant QA technical experience is preferred.

This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background in QA, leadership capabilities, and experience with major ERP/CRM systems. The hybrid work model allows for a balance between onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
