Job Description
We are seeking a System Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server, Azure, and automation to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure platforms. This is a client-facing role requiring hands-on experience in cloud, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) along with on-call support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (on-prem & Azure)
- Automate server provisioning and configuration using PowerShell
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Enterprise)
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, RCA, and performance tuning
- Provide on-call support and act as escalation point for critical incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, infra, security, app teams)
- Engage with clients for technical updates and operational discussions
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and automation standards
- Identify opportunities for automation and system optimization
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server (build, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting)
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
- Knowledge of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience in production support and on-call environments
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Experience with Java / Groovy (Jenkins scripting)
- Knowledge of Group Policy (GPO)
- Understanding of security, server hardening, and compliance
- Experience in hybrid cloud or enterprise environments
Special Requirements
Remote but need CST time Zone; No GC profile; Interview – Phone and Webex
Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $55 per year
