Job Overview
Empower Professionals Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Developer for a long-term contract role located in Jersey City, NJ. This position offers the opportunity for possible extensions and requires a strong background in native and hybrid mobile application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and architect robust mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Build and maintain hybrid mobile applications utilizing Ionic framework.
- Ensure deep understanding and implementation of end-to-end mobile performance and optimization techniques.
- Integrate mobile applications with various APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Adhere to high-quality engineering practices, including application monitoring, performance tracking, and automated/manual testing.
- Ensure applications comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mobile application issues, ensuring a stable and reliable user experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in mobile application design, development, and architecture.
- Strong expertise in native mobile development for both iOS and Android.
- Proven experience building hybrid mobile applications using Ionic.
- Deep understanding of mobile application performance tuning and optimization.
- Extensive experience with robust API integration.
- Commitment to quality engineering practices, including testing and monitoring.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance requirements for mobile applications.

- Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possible extensions
- Employment Type: Contract
- Expected Pay Rate: $60 – $70 per hour (Actual compensation will be based on experience and interview evaluation)
