Job Description: Cloud & Data Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud & Data Architect to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level data solutions on cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud technologies (AWS preferred), and a proven track record of leading complex data projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise data platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
- Develop and implement real-time data streaming solutions and distributed systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and APIs.
- Oversee the MLOps lifecycle, including building, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
- Ensure model governance, monitoring, and automation are in place for ML solutions.
- Leverage strong coding skills in Python and Java for data processing and application development.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and CloudWatch.
- Manage VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and multi-account AWS setups.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and utilize DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
- Develop architecture diagrams and documentation for complex data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in software development, data architecture, and technical leadership.
- 5+ years of experience specifically as a Solution Architect, with a focus on AWS or Azure.
- AWS/Azure certifications are required.
Core Skills:
- Enterprise Data Platforms (Data Lakes, Warehouses, Data Marts)

Special Requirements
Onsite (Virginia, Reston) – Face-to-Face interviews required. AWS/Azure certifications required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
