Position Overview:
We are hiring for 3 Project Managers to join our team at SSFCU Security Service Federal Credit Union. This is an ON-SITE role, 5 days/week, located in San Antonio, TX (Zip code 78249). These are 12-18 month contracts with the possibility of extension.
Project Focus Areas:
- Core Banking / Software Development: Experience with Fidelity, Systematics, or vendor implementations. MUST have a Banking / Financial Services background.
- Marketing & Data / CDP Platforms: Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, or Adobe Analytics. Industry flexibility is acceptable for this track.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Experience with networking, security initiatives, SQL migrations, or enterprise infrastructure projects. Industry flexibility is acceptable for this track.
Position Requirements:
- Will be responsible for managing approximately 3 simultaneous projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a full lifecycle project management framework. Must be able to hit the ground running.
- Assumes full responsibility for the following project management areas:
- Scope management
- Project planning and scheduling
- Resource management
- Risk and issue management
- Communication management
- Project monitoring/controlling
- Project status reporting
- Requires significant internal relationship skills and vendor management.
Methodology:
The organization uses a hybrid approach of Agile and Waterfall, referred to as “Wagyu”. Candidates who are 100% committed to Agile and resistant to Waterfall will not be a good fit. Flexibility and adaptability to different methodologies are crucial.
Special Requirements
Onsite, 5 days/week. Banking, Financial Domain Experience required for one track. Only US Citizens. Excellent communication skills required. Hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology ('Wagyu').
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
